Clifton Suspension Bridge – Pre wedding Portraits

My first pre-wedding shoot blog. I was very lazy with my posts last year so this year I intend to blog far more so everyone can see all of the lovely shoots I get to go on!

To say the morning of the 16th February was damp would be an understatement. On arrival at the Clifton suspension bridge in Bristol it was bucketing it down, so Collette and I liased and decided it would be best to grab a drink at the Avon Gorge Hotel while chatting through some ideas for her and Rich’s Big Day. Luckily after an hour the rain was easing off so we venutured out, with Collette and Rich sheltering under one of the many umbrellas I carry for such an event (the boot of my car generally looks like a jumble sale, with an array of handy photography items along with the obligatory buggy, spare coats and wet wipes that every mother has lurking in her car) Luckily after about 10 minutes it had stopped raining so we braved removing our coats for a variety of looks and to help Collette and Rich feel more comfortable. A really enjoyable morning with a lovely couple. Very much looking forward to their Big Day at Eastwood Park in Gloucester on the 21st March.
